  1. For me, erotica should always be light on the ‘mechanics’ and big on emotion and sensations. ‘Romance’ can be optional to some extent, it should of course be sexy, but avoid straying over the line into porn or gratuitous crudeness.
Let your lovers express themselves fulsomely and with passion in other words, and you can’t go far wrong as you’ll strike the right note with your readers, without having to by gung-ho over the gymnastics and heaving! 😉

  2. I just found out that the paperback edition of A Freebooter’s Fantasy Almanac has gone live on Amazon and some of the other major online bookstories Adam 😀 SO I’m clearing the decks now to concentrate on the WIP which is waiting patiently – that’ll at least a trilogy with more planned in the series down the line. 😉

Erotica is emotional and sensational and I believe it triggers visuals within people brains. I personally write everything, emotions, sometimes the place the characters are in and the actual assets. People are different it depends on how comfortable are you writing it. You can check out my blog and get a hint as to how I write mine perhaps you will have an idea as to how you can write erotica.

Sometimes the music you listen to can also help. Fantasies, they can also help write something hot within the erotic genre.
